Anthony M Puopolo found his life’s passion and a career, early, looking through the viewfinder of a still camera. Prior to graduating high school he commuted to night classes at New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Summer classes there followed high school graduation and then full time matriculation, leading to a degree in Photography.

While at F.I.T., Anthony began working in the rental department of Calumet Photographic. Amidst school and work, Anthony began a four month internship with the internationally known celebrity photographer Timothy White. And then another, for ten months, with Stockland Martel, a well regarded artist’s agency representing over forty world renowned photographers. Anthony was discovering the touchstones of the business as well as continuing to evolve in his own right as a photographer. Traveling to Chicago, Tennessee, & Los Angeles on assignment, Anthony was now attracting freelance work. He began working in 2003 as a full time First Assistant, Studio Manager and Contributing Photographer for Comstock Images, an international stock photo company. And in May of 2004, Anthony accepted an offer to return to work for Timothy White as a full time on staff assistant.

In November 2006, Anthony returned to freelance work knowing the level of photography with which he wants to create. Recently traveling on assignment throughout Costa Rica, China, Europe, The Caribbean, Canada, and the American South West, he continues to work on his fine art collection. Looking to expand his company AMPtography, and to showcase his art-house style photo series, Anthony has opened AMPPrints.com, an affordable fine art website.
